This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit. Location: 3324 142nd Ave East Suite 200, Sumner, Washington, 98390. Shift & Schedule: Nights 1 Shift | Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays, 5:00 PM - 5:15 AM.

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP's high standards in safety and quality.

What you will do:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on K cup manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, servo drives, motors.
• Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring technical expertise.
• Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
• Repair and maintain items necessary to maintain equipment in optimum operating condition.
• Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs.
• Assist other maintenance technicians as required.
• Will assist in the training and coaching others on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean, & well-organized work areas.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.

Total Rewards: Pay starting at $35.34 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $37.14 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary. Requirements:

• Manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to read and understand repair instructions, prints, flowchart, and schematics.
• Experience using e-mail, component maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts lists.
• Packaging experience is preferred.
• Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Ability to lift, push, pull, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, & stoop Ability to repetitively lift, twist, stretch, & reach overhead Ability to stand during entire shift minimum of 12 hours Work in compliance with OSHA regulations
