Senior Associate Quality Control - Days

Amgen seeks a Senior Associate Quality Control professional to perform analytical testing and data management for raw materials using advanced instrumentation in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role involves testing, documentation, equipment maintenance, and support for quality compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, GC, and GC-MS on raw materials and samples
• Perform testing and data analysis for compendia and non-compendia methods; generate documentation
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Participate in laboratory investigations, audits, and inspections; review and approve procedures and deviation records
• Support training of staff and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus 4 years quality experience, or Associate's degree plus 2 years, or Bachelor's degree plus 6 months, or Master's degree
• Experience with HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, or GC-MS instrumentation
• Proficiency in accurate pipetting and small-volume laboratory techniques
• Experience executing analytical testing per methods and compendia standards
• Knowledge of cGMP practices and regulatory requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and capacity to work in matrix team environments
