Assembler / Solder Technician

divh2Assembler Opportunity/h2pOur client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for multiple assemblers for their Orlando, FL location./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliPerform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies, including but not limited to:/liliBGA (Ball Grid Array) reballing and replacement/liliQFN (Quad Flat No-Lead) and other leadless package rework/liliHigh-density connector rework and repair/liliComplex SMT (Surface Mount Technology) component replacement/liliThrough-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components/liliFine pitch and high-density components/liliUtilize various soldering techniques, including hand soldering and reflow soldering/liliUses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation/liliInspect and troubleshoot assemblies to identify defects and areas for improvement/liliDevelop and implement rework procedures for new and existing products/liliCollaborate with engineering teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues/liliPerform mechanical assembly operations, including:/liliInstalling stand-offs, spacers, and other hardware/liliAssembling and aligning complex mechanical components/liliUsing adhesives, epoxies, and other bonding agents/liliMaintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards/li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulli5+ years of experience in soldering and rework, with a focus on advanced techniques/liliStrong understanding of electronics assembly and repair principles/liliProficiency with soldering equipment, including but not limited to:/liliSoldering irons and stations/liliReflow ovens and soldering machines/liliExperience with inspection and testing equipment, such as microscopes and X-ray machines/liliExcellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and attention to detail/liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and quality standards/liliStrong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams/liliIPC (Institute for Printed Circuits) certification in soldering and rework (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)/liliExperience with automated optical inspection (AOI) and x-ray inspection (AXI) systems/liliThrough-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components/liliCandidate must be an extraordinary solder technician or operator that has used re-work equipment and has experience with surface mount components./li/ulh3Why Should You Apply?/h3ulliHealth Benefits/liliReferral Program/liliExcellent growth and advancement opportunities/li/ulpAs an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA provides an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability status, political affiliation, genetics, marital status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws./p/div
