Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team, responsible for assembling metal parts using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will meticulously follow schematics and work instructions to ensure precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Gather parts and hardware as per the bill of materials.
• Measure, align, and assemble prefabricated components.
• Use hand and power tools to install fasteners, rivets, and hardware.
• Tack components together to ensure assemblies are square and aligned.
• Regularly read a tape measure to confirm tolerances and dimensions.
• Perform self-quality checks on completed assemblies.
• Identify defects or misaligned parts and document issues.
• Rework or repair assemblies when engineering updates occur.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and production-ready workstation.
• Work at a steady pace to meet production demands.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in manufacturing assembly for over 2 years.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret tape measures and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in welding and machine shop environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly and production processes.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled plant with shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
