\n \nTitle: Computer Support (Infrastructure Engineer)
\nPay Rate: $27 per hour
\nLocation: Ankeny, IA, 50023
\nDuration: 12 months
\nType – W2 contract (No C2C)
\n \n** Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position**
\nNOTES:
\n1st shift (7am – 3:30pm with flex start am) with minimal overtime
\n50% desk work and 50% shop floor
\nUse of Deere Gator to get around the facility
\nMetatarsals are required on the first day
\nBusiness casual dress code
\nCandidates must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
\nThis team supports a warehouse in Altoona and a lab in Ames in addition to their home base in Ankeny. The candidate will to drive to those locations on occasion (15- 30 mins one away), frequency is on an as-needed basis.

\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n• Deploy, configure, and support PCs, printers, scanners, and network equipment
\n• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
\n• Manage support requests through ServiceNow
\n• Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts
\n• Maintain asset inventory and equipment records
\n• Support printer maintenance and asset disposal
\n• Identify opportunities to improve processes and user experience
\n \nWhat We're Looking For
\n• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
\n• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
\n• Experience with Microsoft Office and standard business applications
\n• Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts
\n• 1+ year of IT experience preferred (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
\n• Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT is a plus
\n• Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, VBA, etc.) is a plus
\n \nEducation
\n• IT-related degree or equivalent experience
\n• High school diploma or equivalent
