Role Description The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading Optavise’s investment strategy and overseeing the management of investment portfolios. This role includes designing and implementing investment policies, monitoring market trends, and optimizing asset allocation to align with organizational goals and risk tolerance. The CIO will collaborate with senior leadership to support long-term financial planning, evaluate new investment opportunities, and provide regular performance reporting and insights. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing market data, reviewing portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and recommending adjustments to investment strategies. The CIO will also guide internal stakeholders on investment-related considerations and contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability, and sound financial decision-making.\n
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Investment Strategies and Investments to design and implement effective, long-term investment approaches.

• Strong background in Investment Management and Portfolio Management to oversee diversified portfolios and optimize risk-return profiles.

• Solid foundation in Finance to support capital allocation decisions, financial planning, and performance analysis.
\n
• Proven experience in a senior investment leadership role, preferably as a CIO, portfolio manager, or similar capacity.

• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and communicate clear, actionable recommendations.
\n
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices related to investments and financial governance.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
\n
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
\n
• Graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA or similar professional certification is highly beneficial.
