The Electrical Assembler assembles a variety of electrical and mechanical subassemblies, working with small components, wiring, and printed circuit boards to produce high-quality harnesses and cables in a production environment.

Work Environment
This role is performed primarily in a light industrial and bench assembly environment. The work is generally sedentary but requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally for lifting and carrying components or equipment. You will frequently walk and stand, use fine handeye coordination, and operate small hand tools, continuity testers, and standard office equipment such as computers and keyboards. Clear vision is required for reading schematics, labels, and detailed assembly instructions, as well as for inspecting small components. Regular verbal and auditory communication is necessary to coordinate with colleagues and support internal and external communication. The physical demands described are representative of those needed to perform the essential functions of the job, and reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Job Description
The Electrical Assembler assembles a variety of electrical and mechanical subassemblies, working with small components, wiring, and printed circuit boards to produce high-quality harnesses and cables in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and comprehend work instructions, schematics, and established procedures to complete assemblies accurately and safely.
- Collect and organize all required materials, components, and equipment before starting each assembly task.
- Assemble small electrical and mechanical components using hand tools such as screwdrivers, nut drivers, cutters, pliers, and wire strippers.
- Attach wire and cable ends to components, plugs, terminal strips, or connectors in accordance with specifications.
- Perform soldering on printed circuit boards and cables while maintaining high quality and reliability standards.
- Crimp electrical connectors onto wire ends by hand or using automatic termination machines.
- Cut wires to specified lengths using hand tools or automatic wire cutting machines.
- Test wiring and connections using continuity testers to ensure proper function and identify any defects.
- Mark and label completed harnesses or cables with identifying data for traceability and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized workbench or assembly station to support efficient production.
- Follow all safety guidelines and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Perform related duties as assigned within the scope of the position to support production needs.
- Previous experience performing small assembly work using hand tools such as screwdrivers, nut drivers, cutters, pliers, and wire strippers.
- Ability to attach ends of wires and cables to components, plugs, terminal strips, or connectors in a production environment.
- Experience testing wiring and connections using continuity testers.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to the component level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Solid handeye coordination for precise bench and light industrial assembly tasks.
- Experience in assembly, general production, or assembly line environments, including electrical or electro-mechanical assembly.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrical or electronics technician is preferred.
- Experience as an electrical assembler, electro-mechanical assembler, light industrial assembler, or bench assembler.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed electrical schematics and documentation.
- Capability to troubleshoot issues beyond basic checks when needed.
- Comfort working with a variety of small hand tools and production equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality assemblies.
