Financial Services Business Development & Marketing Associate

About the Role We are looking for a driven, results-oriented sales and marketing professional to join our registered investment advisory firm. In this role, you will help grow our client base through proactive outreach and prospecting while also serving as a key point of contact for existing clients. You will support day-to-day operations, making calls and sending emails, and executing marketing campaigns. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree required Strong interest in sales, marketing, wealth management, or financial services Willingness to obtain required securities licensing within 12 months of employment Desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in the investment advisory industry What You’ll Do Prospect and develop new client relationships through cold calling, referral outreach, networking, and targeted marketing campaigns Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to introduce firm services and schedule consultations with firm principals Maintain and manage the CRM database to track leads, prospects, and existing client activity Compile and input client data into financial planning software to generate portfolio reviews Support firm principals and associates with meeting preparation and financial planning Contribute to marketing campaigns designed to attract, retain, and generate referrals from clients What You Bring Previous sales, client service, business development, marketing, or financial services experience is preferred but not required Strong desire to build a career in wealth management and investment advisory service Ability and willingness to prospect, make outbound calls, and develop new business opportunities Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a natural ability to build trust and rapport High attention to detail and strong organizational habits Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with CRM platforms is a plus Self-starter mentality with the drive to learn, grow, and contribute to team success Benefits Health Insurance – HMO and PPO 100% paid by company Health Savings Account (HSA) Dental and Vision Insurance – 100% company paid Great Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 to 4:00, Friday 8:00 to 3:00 Unlimited PTO – within reason and agreed upon with principals and other key team members due to the size of our boutique firm
