Job Description: This Cath Lab Tech radiology and cardiology contract offers an intensive 12-hour day shift schedule, with responsibilities that focus on advanced cardiovascular procedures such as coronary angiograms, PCI’s—including high-risk cases with supportive devices like IABPs and Impellas—and pacemaker or AICD insertions. The role involves managing an average of 4-7 cases daily, ensuring all procedures meet clinical standards. Ideal for experienced professionals comfortable with a fast-paced environment and specialized equipment, this assignment provides the opportunity to work in a setting where your technical skills in cardiology imaging and intervention truly shine. Precise adherence to certification requirements, including BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and fluoro, is essential, as is the handling of complex cases with minimal supervision. The position also includes on-call duties, with one night per week, and the possibility of floating to support other units, while maintaining active licensure throughout.
