Executive Director

The River Valley Child Advocacy Center (RVCAC) is seeking a mission-driven Executive Director to serve as its chief executive officer and provide visionary leadership and strategic direction across the organization's operations, programs, and partnerships. The Executive Director partners closely with the Board of Directors to protect the organization's vision, strengthen governance, and translate the strategic plan into focused execution. This leader is accountable for RVCAC's fiscal health, programmatic excellence, accreditation standards, and mission-driven impact. The Executive Director builds a strong organizational culture, leads a high-performing executive leadership team, and ensures that the right people, processes, and training are in place to achieve organizational goals. Externally, the Executive Director serves as a visible voice for RVCAC, maintains effective relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders, and provides influence in statewide initiatives, including legislative efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong nonprofit management skills, empathy for children, particularly children affected by abuse, and a commitment to improving their quality of life and learning about effective child-abuse treatment.
