Accounts Receivable ClerkDESCRIPTION OF EMPLOYER: Founded in 1901, Feeser's, Inc. is a family owned and operated full-line foodservice distributor located in Harrisburg, PA servicing the Mid-Atlantic region. Feeser's provides an expansive offering of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to a diverse customer base comprised of restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and other institutions.SUMMARY: This position performs various AR duties, including auditing customer invoices, billing, crediting customer accounts, recording all payments received on deliveries, adding invoice totals on adding machine, keeping files, and bookkeeping organized, and all other duties as assigned by management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze and photocopy route reconciliations for missing and incorrect mileage.Distribute reports to Management.Prepare and organize payments received from customers.Prepare adjustments to customer accounts.Review and balance invoices from window sales.Identify and process any Pick-ups on route reconciliations.Analyze and balance customer invoices from Express deliveries.Audit customer invoices. Verify invoices for accuracy, errors, and rejections.Re-scan invoices for legible digital records.Scan and file signature copies of customer invoices for digital records.Perform adjustments when needed and update invoice totals. Reconcile invoices on a computer terminal.Make note of all customer payments received on deliveries.Match driver's paperwork with corresponding payment sheets and total all customer payments on adding machine to balance.Stuff envelopes and mail credit memos and miscellaneous vendor checks.Filing and organizing customer application documents in bookkeeping area for records.Filing and organizing miscellaneous paid invoices in bookkeeping area for records.Perform all other duties as assigned by management.SKILLS REQUIREDMath skillsAttention to detail and accuracy.Data entry skills.Organization and confidentialityTouch use of adding machine.Communication skills.Good verbal skillsAbility to multi-taskTime managementStrong knowledge of computerAbility to learn and adapt to changes.Teamwork and works well with othersAble to work without supervision unless neededProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 20 pounds.Communicating with others to exchange information.Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Low temperatures.Noisy environments.Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust.Feeser's Food Distributors is an equal opportunity employer.
