We are seeking an experienced Advanced Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Beth Jacob High School of Denver.
Responsibilities:
Teach advanced mathematics courses, including algebra, geometry, and calculus, to students in grades 10-12
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding of mathematical concepts
Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on best practices in mathematics education
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth
Help prepare students to do well on SAT's, as well as develop dual-enrollment curriculum so our students can get college credit
Requirements:
Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's degree or higher preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience as a mathematics teacher (or equivalent experience in a related field)
Strong knowledge of advanced mathematics concepts and curriculum design
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing circumstances
