Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Soni ispartnering on a search for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team within a stable and highly respected financial services organization. This role offers strong exposure to general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and month-end close within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and monthly adjusting entries Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis Monitor and analyze balance sheet and income statement variances Support financial reporting and accounting operations Work directly with auditors during audit processes Assist with regulatory and reporting-related activities Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and finance leadership Support additional accounting projects and process improvements as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4–6+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of general accounting and close processes Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Skills Financial services or banking industry experience Public accounting experience, ideally supporting financial services clients Experience within larger corporate accounting environments Exposure to financial reporting or regulatory reporting environments Compensation $100,000-$115,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr Soni
