The Director National Accounts - Lowes is a high-level leader responsible for implementing and guiding the strategic direction of the National Accounts team. This role will assist with formulating and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives, ensuring market presence and profitability within national accounts. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: Develop strategies for pursuing National Account leads and increasing market share for National Account market segments. Build and support high functioning, motivatedteams. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts. Establish and monitor pricing structures and discount levels for new and existing National Accountsto achieve sales goals. Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company. Assist in establishingaccountsales objectives in conjunctionwith sales leadershipto ensure sales strategies align with company goals. Collaborate and facilitate effective cross-functional communication with teams, includingMarketing,Operations, andFinance, to ensure seamless execution of high-level account strategies. Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerningnational accounts. Perform other duties as needed. Required Experience and Education: Describe the education, years of experience, and any certifications necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities of this position. Bachelors degree in a related fieldor equivalent education and/or experience. 10+years relevant experienceor equivalent education and/or experience. 5+years of management experience. Competencies: Developing proven team structure and processes that drive results. Solid understanding of broader organization context and goals. Able to delegate workeffectivelyto team members; ensures tasks are completed without micromanaging. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations while preserving relationships. Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
