About the Role: The Hotel Night Auditor at Hampton Inn and Suites Dupont WA plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial and operational transition between business days. This position is responsible for auditing the daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing accurate reports that support management decisions. The Night Auditor also provides exceptional guest service during overnight hours, addressing guest needs and resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently during the night shift while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Ultimately, the Night Auditor helps uphold the hotel's reputation for excellence by combining financial accuracy with attentive guest service. Minimum Qualifications: Experience with night audit procedures in the hospitality industry. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during overnight hours. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in hotels. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with local area and attractions to assist guests effectively. Responsibilities: Perform nightly audit of all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness. Reconcile daily revenue reports and prepare detailed audit reports for management review. Process guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, providing courteous and efficient service. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift. Monitor hotel security and safety protocols, reporting any irregularities or incidents to management. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and communication during the night shift. Skills: The required skill of Night Audit is essential for accurately reviewing and reconciling the hotel's daily financial activities, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reported. Proficiency in property management systems allows the Night Auditor to efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs while maintaining accurate records.
