Job Description

Do you love working with the elderly? Would you like to make a difference every day in someone’s life? Our agency is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide to work with our clients in the Tampa, FL area. Work closely with our clinical staff to support therapeutic, medical and behavioral plans, provide assistance and strategies to the individuals we serve to live as independently as possible.

The Home Health Aide must be patient, experienced, kind, and have a caring heart for our clients. Professionalism and empathy are a must when working in home health. The Home Health Aide should be comfortable with working independently and consulting with the clinical management team to ensure proper care and safety for our clients.

We are seeking an experienced caregiver for clients who require moderate to total hands-on care. You must have experience with the elderly and clients with dementia. Professional references must be verifiable.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living skills including feeding, bathing, and incontinence care.
Provide meaningful play to encourage life skills
Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from prescribed exercise, nutrition, and supporting care

Qualifications:

Proven experience working with developmentally disabled pediatrics
Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
Proficiency in English (bilingual a plus)
Caring and compassionate personality
Current CPR certificate (hands-on course; AHA preferred)
Current First Aid training (hands-on course; AHA preferred)
Valid driver’s license
High school education or higher (diploma/GED/transcript or equivalent required)
A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do

We are only accepting professionals for this role. The HH aide must be dependable and reliable. We work with clients who depend on our care to remain safe in their homes.

Pay: $16-18/hr

This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). More information can be found at
