Work Environment

This position is based in North Las Vegas, NV, and requires onsite work primarily within the parameters of home care settings. You will benefit from a structured work schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, considering their unique histories and personal goals to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Administer skilled physical therapy interventions, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy approaches, and assistive modalities, to help patients regain and enhance functional mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document each patient's progress using electronic medical records (EMRs), adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative case management by working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies to prevent injuries and falls.
• Implement fall prevention programs tailored to our clients, particularly those residing in assisted living environments, to minimize accidental injuries.
• Commit to continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and actively participating in relevant continuing education.
• Adhere to ethical standards and uphold patient confidentiality while ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of care.

The patients you will work with may have conditions ranging from chronic pain, arthritis, post-surgery recovery, to mobility restrictions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in geriatric therapy is preferred; however, we welcome new graduates with a strong desire to specialize in this area.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and proficient in relevant documentation practices.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and a commitment to implementing the latest therapeutic techniques in patient care.
• A genuine dedication to promoting patient-centered care and improving the quality of life for our clients.
• Demonstrable ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a physical therapy role focusing on geriatric populations
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing individual treatment plans.
• Familiarity with community resources and supportive services for the elderly.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
