Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is onsite, primarily in a home care environment. This approach allows us to provide rehabilitation in the comfort of our patients' homes, ensuring they receive personalized support tailored to their living situations. You will join a passionate team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and support staff, emphasizing collaboration and patient-centered care. Our clinic hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall physical function tailored to each patient's needs.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities, promoting pain relief and physical well-being.
• Educate patients on body mechanics, exercise techniques, and implement home exercise programs that support their recovery and facilitate long-term success.
• Perform and administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy while adhering to professional standards.
• Monitor and document patient progress, tracking vital metrics such as range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional gains.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment and supplies in an organized manner, ensuring an efficient flow during therapy sessions.
• Engage and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, enhancing patient outcomes through shared insights and strategies.
• Provide emotional and motivational support to patients, fostering a positive environment that encourages their participation and commitment to rehabilitation goals.
• Uphold ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for patient rights throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• One year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or home care environment.

Compensation and Benefits
