Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough orthopedic evaluations that include functional assessments and detailed movement analyses to inform treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies, establishing measurable goals that reflect best practices and current clinical guidelines.
• Administer therapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and various modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Engage actively with patients and their families, providing education on recovery processes, injury prevention measures, and self-management techniques.
• Utilize our user-friendly Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to document treatment sessions meticulously, capturing patient progress and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive rehabilitation strategies.
• Stay informed on the latest clinical practices and maintain your licensing through continuous education opportunities and in-service training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. This diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages, allowing you to utilize your expertise in a variety of clinical scenarios. You will encourage active participation from patients, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and restore functional mobility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, specifically in orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada or eligibility for licensure.
