Work Environment

At our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere. Your working hours will be stable and focused, with a caseload management of one patient per hour to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, activities of daily living, and orthopedic needs to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual goals, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Document progress meticulously through EMR software, particularly WebPT, ensuring accurate records that facilitate ongoing care.
• Engage in continuous dialogue with patients to motivate and educate them about their treatment plans and progress.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and modify care strategies as needed to foster optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and primary care physicians, to establish a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Design and recommend personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' lifestyles and rehabilitation goals.
• Focus on reducing patients' reliance on medications and exploring alternatives to surgical interventions by providing high-quality care.
• Participate in department meetings to discuss patient case studies, share insights, and promote best practices.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to the training of physical therapy interns when applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary focus will be on working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.

• Proficient in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise programs for varied patient types.
• Strong familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT.
• Demonstrated professional conduct with a clean record devoid of any board or disciplinary actions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly desired.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive patient outcomes through tailored treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
