Work Environment

The position is based in a home care setting, allowing for a unique, one-on-one patient interaction that fosters a supportive and personalized therapeutic atmosphere. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging with patients in their own environments to guide them toward recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess patient needs and establish individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to address specific orthopedic conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, and communicating outcomes to both patients and care teams.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding self-care techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to promote longevity in their recovery.
• Actively participate in team meetings to contribute insights on best practices and support the clinic's culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your focus will be on helping these individuals rebuild their functionality and reclaim their autonomy. The diverse patient demographic in North Las Vegas means you will tailor your approach to a wide range of conditions, enhancing your skills in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate or Master's degree is preferred.
• Current or eligibility for a Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated commitment to orthopedic rehabilitation or sports therapy through relevant coursework, training, or prior experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on rapport-building and patient education.
• Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or willingness to pursue such certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, particularly in an orthopedic or sports setting.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques or dry needling is highly regarded and will contribute to effective patient outcomes.
• A proactive approach to patient care and a genuine passion for enhancing lives through physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on level of experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer performance bonuses and incentive payment opportunities that recognize your contributions to patient care and clinic success.
