Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement manual therapy techniques coupled with progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation programs that align with the latest sports science research.
• Oversee advanced return-to-play testing and facilitate sport-specific training regimens to ensure safe and effective participation.
• Work closely with athletic trainers and orthopedic physicians to develop comprehensive care plans that enhance recovery and performance.
• Provide education to athletes on injury prevention, effective recovery methods, and long-term mobility strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on a diverse range of athletes, including high school athletes, weekend sports enthusiasts, and professional competitors. You will utilize your expertise to design rehabilitation strategies that address specific sport-related injuries and performance goals. Understanding the unique needs of each patient population allows for specialized treatment approaches that foster optimal recovery and return to sport.

Qualifications

• A licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Nevada or eligible for licensure.
• Strong passion for sports medicine, biomechanics, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional performance training methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating an athlete-first mindset in all patient interactions.
• Comfortable working in rehabilitation and return-to-sport environments.

Preferred Experience

• Certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is highly desired.
• Background in athletic training or experience in collegiate/professional sports rehabilitation settings.
• Experience with advanced techniques such as blood flow restriction therapy, dry needling, or specialized sports technology (e.g., force plates, motion capture).

Compensation and Benefits
