Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our North Las Vegas outpatient office. The clinic fosters a supportive and high-energy atmosphere, where teamwork is emphasized, and continued learning is encouraged. You will interact with a diverse patient population and collaborate daily with orthopedic physicians and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care. Work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, including various sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Employ hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training strategies to facilitate patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, optimal movement mechanics, and effective home exercise programs to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain clear communication with orthopedic physicians and medical staff, collaborating to adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and record patient progress, adapting treatment strategies to promote the best rehabilitation results.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Stay informed of the latest developments in orthopedic rehabilitation to enhance your clinical practice and patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering personalized care that empowers patients on their road to recovery, enhancing not just their physical health but their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills to develop and implement effective patient-specific treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401k option, health insurance, and a commitment to continuing education to support your professional development.
