Work Environment

This position is an onsite role, specifically in the home care setting, where you'll visit patients in their residences for therapy sessions. Working in various environments allows you to adapt your treatment methodologies to each patient's specific conditions and home dynamics. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure every patient receives comprehensive care tailored to their lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, mobility levels, and rehabilitation requirements to establish a baseline for treatment.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's specific orthopedic needs, emphasizing evidence-based practices and measurable outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapies, strengthening exercises, and patient education strategies to enhance healing.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment progress, and modifications in Raintree, ensuring compliance with all clinic protocols and healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on effective injury prevention strategies and home exercises to promote ongoing recovery and wellness.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to optimize recovery and enhance patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Expanding Balance Physical Therapy, our client population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on understanding each patient's unique challenges and lifestyle influences to create a supportive environment that encourages active participation in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate effective teamwork and patient interactions.
• Motivation to grow professionally and learn through hands-on experiences.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required, with specific preference for candidates with a background in outpatient and/or home care environments.
• Experience using Raintree or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems to manage patient records efficiently.
• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and continual education practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will enjoy an extensive benefits package that includes:
