Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite in our Las Vegas facility, where your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Engaging directly with our patient population, you will collaborate closely with two fellow Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a supportive and dynamic setting, allowing you to share knowledge and enhance your clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs through individualized assessments, establishing treatment goals that align with their personal health objectives.
• Manage and maintain an efficient caseload, typically involving providing care to around two patients per hour.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments, utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility.
• Develop comprehensive, patient-specific care plans that incorporate functional rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Focus on minimizing medication needs by providing effective therapy alternatives, potentially avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure continued improvement and effectiveness of care.
• Provide education and motivation to patients, empowering them to take charge of their recovery process and embrace a healthier lifestyle.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing positively to patient records.
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, exchanging insights and strategies to optimize overall patient care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients dealing with orthopedic issues, which may include sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our diverse patient population often seeks outpatient therapy solutions tailored to their specific conditions and lifestyles. Understanding and addressing their unique needs is essential to providing effective rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada with no disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Demonstrated competency in manual therapy skills and techniques.
• Proficient in creating and implementing individualized exercise programs for patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting.
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment focusing on sports medicine is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
