Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations to restore movement and function to patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to facilitate patient recovery.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, pain management techniques, and injury prevention strategies to empower them in maintaining long-term health.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and contribute to team planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily engage with adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic spans a variety of backgrounds and levels of mobility, which allows for a gratifying professional experience as you help individuals regain their independence and improve their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent program; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid Nevada Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in Nevada.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing a rapport with patients and fostering an encouraging environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desired, although new graduates with a strong clinical background may also be considered.
• Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and advanced rehabilitation methodologies.
• Experience in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging between $95,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
