Work Environment

Our outpatient orthopedic clinic offers a friendly and supportive workspace tailored to optimize patient experiences. You will often find yourself collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a significant impact in your patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's physical condition, including range of motion, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that detail the strategies and interventions tailored to each patient's recovery.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to promote healing.
• Educate patients and their families on effective recovery strategies, including exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in continuous learning and team collaboration to refine skills and share insights for improving patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitations, sports injuries, and more. Our patient population ranges from young athletes to seniors needing specialized assistance in recovering from joint replacements. Your ability to connect with patients and understand their unique challenges will be essential in guiding their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Nevada Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and an eagerness to learn and adapt to new treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedics is highly preferred.
• Experience with specific modalities and rehabilitation techniques that address diverse orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
