Work Environment

Your role will take place in our modern outpatient office designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients. Equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and treatment modalities, our facility supports a variety of therapeutic techniques. The position is full-time, with a typical schedule offering work hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while providing crucial care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient upon their arrival, assessing physical abilities, range of motion, and limitations to create a baseline for treatment.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans with measurable goals, focusing on improving mobility, enhancing strength, and minimizing pain.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize advanced modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to effectively support the rehabilitation process.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients on effective injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and necessary lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health and recovery.
• Ensure all patient interactions and treatments are accurately documented in compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Vital Body Wellness, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and those dealing with chronic pain conditions. Your role will directly impact a diverse group of individuals, including athletes seeking to return to their sport, older adults improving their functional independence, and accident survivors on the road to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant clinical rotation experience in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy disciplines and functional movement assessments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
