Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough orthopedic evaluations and functional assessments to accurately diagnose patient conditions.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices that outline measurable goals for recovery.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery protocols, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to empower them in their healing journey.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress using our user-friendly EMR system.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with an interdisciplinary team to enhance care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through participation in continuing education and in-house training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation will be crucial in guiding each patient through tailored recovery protocols, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes based on their unique circumstances and health goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Active or eligible for Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Nevada.
