Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for patients presenting with orthopedic conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical cases, and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with patients' goals, considering their individual medical histories and physical capabilities.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to enhance recovery and improve mobility.
• Educate patients on effective movement mechanics and develop home exercise programs to continue progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive patient documentation within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring all treatments and patient interactions are accurately recorded.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and other medical staff during case discussions to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Stay informed on the latest orthopedic rehabilitation practices through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be working with typically include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes with sports-related injuries, and those managing chronic conditions. Your role is crucial in helping these patients regain function and achieve their personal rehabilitation goals, thus improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong patient relationships and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Ability to create and execute patient-centered treatment plans that drive engagement and compliance.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience in assessing and treating various musculoskeletal injuries.
• Knowledge of functional training techniques and the latest evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with EMR systems and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

Body and Spine PT offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package.
