Datacenter Technician

Location (city, state): Florida, Wash DC, Virginia or North Carolina. Travel required (50%+; likely rotating every other week) When not traveling: hybrid onsite 3x per week to any office that is closest to them Compensation: Contract rate target $30-35/hr W2 Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) upon conversion. You’ll get hands‑on experience across infrastructure projects, travel to different sites, and work alongside senior engineers while building toward more advanced networking (routing, SD‑WAN). Specific Outcome This Position Will Produce: Support network infrastructure across multiple office locations Assist with switch configuration and deployment efforts Contribute to a major data center upgrades Help scale the Field Tech Ops team and reduce bandwidth constraints Typical Day to Day: Configure switch ports and support network setup activities in new offices across US Travel to branch locations for onsite support (every other week rotation) Assist with firmware and network upgrades Support data center work (rack/stack, cabling, upgrades) Troubleshoot connectivity issues and coordinate with ISPs when needed Follow direction from senior engineers and elevate issues appropriately Years’ Experience: 0–3 years (true entry-level considered) Degree or certs (Network+, etc.) are a plus Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
