Details Work in the Pediatric ICU of a hospital setting Care for a variety of pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex CVICU and NICU experience preferred Level 1 experience required Night shift schedule 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification (AHA) Current PALS certification (AHA) Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Good verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Additional Information Assume responsibility for an assigned group of pediatric patients Document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge information Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying Facility maintains strict compliance deadlines and requires prompt completion of onboarding requirements American Traveler Job ID P-742967.
