Mercy Jefferson is seeking an additional board eligible or board-certified General Surgeon to join our busy, well-established practice at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO .

This Position Offers:

• Bread and Butter General Surgery

• Da Vinci Robot on site

• Clinic office on campus near main ORs

• Outpatient surgery center across the street!

• Strong referral base from Mercy’s primary care physicians and local Mercy urgent care

• Excellent variety of cases and a diverse patient population

• System-wide Epic EMR

Mercy Hospital Jefferson:

• A 300-bed community-based hospital – the only hospital in Jefferson County

• Excellent subspecialist support

• Approximately 40,000 Emergency Department visits annually

• Leapfrog Grade A and Top General hospital and CMS 4-star hospital

• Collaborative partnership with LECOM – Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine

• System-wide Epic EMR

• Catchment area of 1 million across 20 counties

This Position Offers:

• Very competitive 2-year income guarantee with recruitment incentives!

• Up to $20,000 in relocation

• As a not-for-profit system, Mercy qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

• 4 weeks’ vacation plus 6 holidays (while on guarantee)
