Structural Coordinator/EIT

This role supports HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, contributing to the design of infrastructure that enables innovation, sustainability, and human experience across data centers and commercial environments. Overview In the role of Structural Coordinator/EIT, we’ll count on you to assist with structural engineering tasks under guidance, contribute to project teams, and develop your technical and professional skills as part of HDR’s employee-owned culture. Responsibilities Prepare structural analysis models under the guidance of senior engineers using ETABS, RAM Structural System, SAFE, and Risa. Develop digital building models and details in Revit. Independently perform equipment anchorage calculations and design. Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects. Perform basic structural calculations and design structural members in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber. Perform field observations and attend team meetings representing structural engineering. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Previous structural design experience (internship or full-time work experience) is a plus Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
