Fiscal responsibility for preparing complete and accurate financial statements, quarterly forecasting, and hands-on involvement in land acquisition feasibility process. Risk manager for the Division operations. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:* Oversees preparation of monthly financial statements and responsible for compliance and adherence with GAAP and Company policies and procedures* Coordinates the annual plan, quarterly forecasts and periodic Flash submissions, including presentation of results to Area Leadership* Oversees the land acquisition feasibility process for new communities and the disposition activities for land sales* Serves as the risk manager for the assigned market and oversees litigation management and involved with HOA management* Works with internal and external audit staff* Partners with and provides counsel to homebuilding functional leaders in order to drive enhanced business results**MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES** LEVEL: MENTOR / COACH / FEEDBACK Without Direct Reports* Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs* Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent* Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills* Evaluates employee’s performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance* Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities* Creates opportunities for employee growth* Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)**SCOPE:*** Decision Impact: Division* Department Responsibility: Multiple* Budgetary Responsibility: Yes* Direct Reports: Yes* Indirect Reports: Yes* Physical Requirements: If applicable* Valid Driver’s License because driving is an essential function of this position**REQUIRED EDUCATION:** (degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field)* Certified Public Accounting license (active or inactive) strongly preferred**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:** (work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.):* Minimum 10 years public accounting/expanded homebuilding experience* Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and financial reports* Strong analytical and organizational skills* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to organize and manage long-term projects### **PulteGroup, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies (collectively, “Recruiters”) in response to job postings.
