Cnc Mill Machinist

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Mill Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high‑quality precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Load tools, offsets, and perform basic program edits as needed Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications 2+ years of CNC mill operation experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience with measuring tools and inspection techniques Basic knowledge of G‑code and CNC programming a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
