Design Manager/Construction Coordinator

Job Title: Construction Coordinator, Panther National Panther National is seeking a Construction Coordinator focused on color sheets, design control documents, and disciplined construction documentation. This role will maintain the design-control source of truth for color sheets, specifications, finish selections, drawing versions, RFIs, submittals, change logs, buyer-option decisions, and closeout records. The role is essential to preventing design drift, reducing field confusion, and making sure field, design, sales, buyer, and owner-facing information is complete, current, and easy to find. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Support a design-control discipline that keeps drawings, color sheets, finish selections, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change documents aligned across the project. Help convert the Panther National construction and design plan into an organized, searchable, and current documentation system for field and owner use. Operations Management Create, update, distribute, and design control documents for homes, model homes, clubhouse, racquet center, and related scopes as assigned. Maintain version control for drawings, finish schedules, specifications, buyer options, approved substitutions, RFI responses, submittals, and change-order documentation. Coordinate meetings, agendas, document requests, action logs, approvals, and follow-ups tied to design control, selections, and field implementation. Support budget and change-order discipline by ensuring color sheet revisions, specification changes, substitutions, and design updates are documented and approved before implementation. Flag cost or schedule implications tied to color sheet changes, design revisions, undocumented selections, or conflicting drawings. Maintain documentation needed for pay applications, draw support, owner reporting, and contract backup when design decisions affect scope or cost. Project Oversight Maintain the design-control log showing current documents, superseded versions, approval dates, open issues, responsible parties, and field distribution status. Support field teams by ensuring they are working from the current approved color sheet, drawing set, specification, RFI response, or submittal. Escalate conflicting design documents, missing approvals, incomplete selections, delayed responses, or undocumented field changes. Member, Homeowner and Partner Relationships Support a polished buyer, member, and owner experience by ensuring design records are accurate, professional, and aligned with project commitments. Protect Panther National confidentiality and brand standards through careful handling of buyer, design, and project documentation. Required Experience 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate development, construction, club operations, hospitality, administration, security, marketing, or related field. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, communicate clearly, and follow through in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting executives, owners, consultants, contractors, members, homeowners, or high-expectation external stakeholders. Background with private clubs, resort communities, luxury real estate, hospitality, or high-end residential environments preferred. Excellent communication, follow-through, judgment, and attention to detail. Ability to create structure where processes, records, responsibilities, or decision rights are unclear. High standard for confidentiality, member experience, brand protection, and owner-ready work product. Comfort using project systems, shared drives, spreadsheets, document controls, dashboards, and formal reporting cadences. Practical problem-solving orientation with a bias toward clear ownership, dates, documentation, and escalation paths. Education Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, construction management, engineering, architecture, hospitality, marketing, communications, security management, or related field preferred as applicable to the role.
