This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor various production machines, including setup, adjustments, and minor repairs, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to minimize downtime and extend machine life.Monitor production processes, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or product defects promptly.Load and unload materials and components into machines, ensuring correct placement and orientation.Conduct in-process quality checks, inspect finished products for defects, and ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, output, and quality data.Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production goals.Identify and suggest improvements to machine operation, safety, or quality processes.Assist with training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures as needed.Job QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
