Details Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 3 days per week Requirements Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration Additional Information Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document patient responses to nursing interventions Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments Administer medications and initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge information Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Facility strictly enforces credentialing deadlines with no flexibility for start date pushes Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks from time of offer 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or ending of assignment Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-768474.
