Production Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift

Job Description Ichor Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Production Manufacturing Technician (PMT) on 1st shift, located in Sauk Rapids, MN. The PMT will operate select manufacturing/processing equipment safely that meet or exceed quality requirements/standards in a timely manner at the lowest possible costs, working in highly controlled rooms from a process and safety standpoint, specifically the clean line and clean room environments as assigned. The role involves handling electro‑polishing chemicals and equipment, operating high‑purity instruments, using highly sensitive testing devices, and working with assembly tools and packaging equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform general labor including loading and unloading cleaning equipment, assembly, inspection, wiping, swabbing, carrying plates, nitrogen‑dry parts, leak, function, and flow testing, bagging, packaging, and related tasks. Operate microscopes, profilometers, lapping machines, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers, and leak, flow, and function testing equipment. Operate ultrasonic wash, electro‑polish, and insert installation stations. Monitor supplies and use material replenishment reordering systems. Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks. Cross‑train and assist other production areas based on schedule demands. Occasionally work in clean room, clean line, or assembly areas as workflow dictates. Follow Ichor’s Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing duties. Use required PPE, including coveralls, boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, gloves, etc. Desired Knowledge and Skills Good communication skills, flexibility, and cooperation. High level of production skills. Clean room experience. Strong work ethic. Strong attention to detail. Basic math skills. Understanding of controlled process regulations. Lifting up to 50 lbs – Rarely. Close vision – Frequently. Fine hand/finger use – Frequently. For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range is $17.12–$29.09 hourly, nonexempt. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and education.
