Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Description Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is per‑diem and will work 8‑hour, variable shifts. The role involves performing routine laboratory testing and analysis that require well‑developed cognitive, manipulative and problem‑solving skills. Key responsibilities include operating test equipment, monitoring test quality, verifying and reporting results, performing more complex test procedures in one or more sections, and providing technical supervision of a specific section during shifts in the absence of senior staff. Key Responsibilities Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis. Operate testing equipment and monitor quality of testing. Verify and report test results. Perform complex test procedures in multiple sections. Provide technical supervision of a section during shifts when senior staff are absent. Required Qualifications Education that meets certification, license or registration requirements. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License upon hire. California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of experience.
