The ideal candidate will be well-versed in plumbing, electrical systems, general construction, and handyman work, with preferred experience in laminate countertop installation or repair. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and the ability to service a variety of systems in retail stores, banks, restaurants, and healthcare facilities to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, electrical systems, and general construction elements; perform handyman tasks and handle laminate countertop repairs or installations as neededIdentify and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, and structural components, ensuring efficient and lasting repairsPerform routine preventive maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently and prevent unexpected failuresCommunicate effectively with clients, explain repair procedures, and provide solutions that minimize downtimeAdhere to safety regulations and industry standards during all workMaintain detailed records of repairs, services, and parts used; submit service reports and invoices promptlyTrack tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory; order and replenish supplies as neededStay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learningQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in plumbing, electrical, construction, or a related field preferred2–5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, general construction, and/or handyman work; experience with laminate countertop installation or repair is a plusStrong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsRelevant certifications in plumbing, electrical, or construction trades are a plusValid driver's license with a clean driving record per company policyMust pass a satisfactory background screeningSkills:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across multiple tradesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a teamCommitment to high-quality service and customer satisfactionPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry 50–75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance or heavy-lift equipmentComfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environmentsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periodsWillingness to travel daily to work sites within the assigned Tampa / Florida territoryAbility to work safely around electrical, steam, and high-heat units with appropriate safety equipmentEqual Opportunity Employer: Kemco Facilities Services is an equal opportunity employer.
