Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care in an outpatient or clinic setting, assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates clinical proficiency and cultural sensitivity in delivering age-specific care.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts thorough assessments of patients to identify needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administers medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests as ordered by physicians.
• Documents patient care accurately and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
• Educates patients and family members on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and adjusts care plans accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an NLN-accredited nursing program.
• Licensed in good standing as a Registered Nurse in Alaska.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Proficient in medical terminology, EKG skills, and basic nursing procedures.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests, manage patient care, and utilize the nursing process effectively.
