Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care

Registered Nurse Nursing

Schedule: M-F

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

• Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution.
• Must be licensed in good standing in the state as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience in a healthcare setting as a Registered Nurse.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality, cost-effective, and efficient care.
• Serve as a resource person when required and apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in the provision of patient care, administer treatments and medications, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide education to patients, families, and significant others while collaborating with other professions.
