Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Schedule: Days/Nights

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 32

Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications; preferred to have PALS.
- 1-2 years of OR experience.
- National Certification in Surgery/PACU preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care through nursing assessments, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality, cost-effective, and efficient patient care.
- Serve as a resource person during complex situations requiring nursing expertise.
- Apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in patient care practices.
- Support the facility's mission statement through all nursing activities.
