Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse – Surgical Services

Schedule: Days/Nights

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 32

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications; preferred to have PALS.
• 1-2 years of OR experience.
• National Certification in Surgery/PACU preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care through nursing assessments, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality, cost-effective, and efficient patient care.
• Serve as a resource person during complex situations requiring nursing expertise.
• Apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in patient care practices.
• Support the facility's mission statement through all nursing activities.
