About Asset Living Asset Living is a third‑party property management firm founded in 1986 that manages a diverse portfolio of multifamily, single‑family rentals, affordable housing, build‑to‑rent, active adult, and student housing properties across the United States. Position: Leasing Consultant The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations at a residential property. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Property Leasing and Administration Regular daily on‑site attendance required Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease. Conduct all functions necessary to close a lease, including making appointments, generating leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and follow‑up. Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in. Assist with lease audits, unit inspections, and turnover processes. Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours. Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and exceed leasing goals. Perform various administrative tasks as needed. Handle resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction. Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletters). Contribute to upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units. Marketing & Outreach: implement the annual marketing plan, conduct market surveys, maintain product knowledge, and produce weekly market reports. Customer & Resident Relations: manage customer service, monitor service‑request turnaround, maintain a favorable image of the community, and ensure consistent resident policy enforcement. Enforce community policies as directed by the supervisor. Education / Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software functions. Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Regular movement between work sites and use of wrists, hands, and fingers. Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and step‑stools; ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods. Capacity to move objects up to 25 lbs., operate machinery and/or power tools, drive vehicles or golf carts, work overtime and weekends, handle extreme temperatures, and operate in confined or outdoor spaces. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $18 per hour to $18 per hour. Additional compensation may include a comprehensive total rewards package featuring benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, a 401(k) with employer matching, and commission and performance bonuses.
