Propulsion Integration Engineer - Level 3

Description You will be the Propulsion Integration Engineer for the Propulsion Team responsible for advancing propulsion system capabilities across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. What You Will Be Doing As a Propulsion Integration Engineer you will lead and coordinate technical analysis, modeling, testing, and integration of propulsion systems with aircraft. Your responsibilities include: Perform installation, testing, and validation of new propulsion systems. Develop and refine propulsion system interfaces. Coordinate with cross‑functional design teams. Support program travel and collaborate with engine manufacturers and external partners. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start. Location: Fort Worth, TX. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or equivalent engineering discipline, or equivalent experience and combined education considered. Experience in gas turbine integration and/or analysis. Matlab or Simulink software packages. Desired Skills Proficient in NPSS, Python, C++, or similar languages. Experience interfacing with customers and suppliers. Experience leading and interfacing with other functional teams. Good understanding of thermodynamics and jet propulsion fundamentals. Security Clearance Requires a government security clearance; US citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
