Food Service Worker / MonitorPersonal Touch Food Service, Inc. is seeking a dependable and friendly Food Service Worker/Monitor to join our school cafeteria team. This dual-role position supports daily food service operations while also supervising students during meal periods to promote a safe, clean, and respectful cafeteria environment.Location: StarpointSchedule: Part-Time, School-Year Position (Monday–Friday during school hours) variable hours between 9:30 am and 2:00 pmPay Rate: $17.00 per hourAssist with preparing, portioning, and serving meals in accordance with menus and nutrition guidelinesSet up and restock serving lines, salad bars, and condiment stationsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, dishes, and utensilsOperate kitchen equipment and point-of-sale (POS) systems as neededEnsure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulationsSupervise and monitor student behavior in the cafeteria during breakfast and/or lunch periodsPromote a safe, orderly, and respectful environment among studentsReport any issues or concerns to the Food Service Manager or school staffPerform additional tasks as assigned by the Food Service Manager or SupervisorPrior food service or school experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, punctual, and able to follow instructionsMust work well in a team settingAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 poundsMust pass a background check in accordance with school district and state regulations
