Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Engineer for an expanding Cleveland, OH company. This is a new, full-time in-person position. Candidates should be local or able to commute. This is not a remote role. Must have experience in the manufacturing industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a manufacturing background, technical knowledge, and the ability to sell physical products or engineered solutions. The company has a rich tradition of excellence and is embarking on a new chapter of growth under new ownership.

Roles

• Create estimates, proposals, and pricing based on client requirements
• Discover fresh business opportunities through proactive sales and outreach
• Cultivate relationships with new and existing industrial clients
• Maintain a pipeline of strong leads and customer accounts
• Engage with decision-makers to discuss product features and solutions
• Collaborate with production and internal teams to meet customer needs
• Monitor sales activity, follow-ups, and client data in CRM or ERP systems
• Assist with sales reports, presentations, and business growth initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to drive company expansion

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is a must
• Previous experience in sales, account management, or business development
• Background in manufacturing or selling technical products
• Strong technical skills and ability to understand manufactured goods
• Experience in outbound sales, prospecting, or technical account management
• Ability to interpret blueprints and work with measurements and math
• CRM experience is necessary; ERP experience is beneficial
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational abilities
• Team-player mindset with the capability to work independently
• Willingness to work onsite in Cleveland, OH
• Completion of pre-employment screenings

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge in metal products, engineered solutions, or industrial manufacturing
• Experience with aerospace, energy, OEM, or similar industrial sectors
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes or quality control systems
